Bleed For Life
Bleed For Life Bleed For Life was a campaign designed to increase blood donations among college students by creatively merging the themes of blood donation with horror. The concept leveraged the appeal of horror movies to create a captivating and attention-grabbing campaign. This concept presented several challenges due to the mature themes often associated with horror movies and blood. Rather than focusing on a horrific and gruesome aesthetic, we aimed to express a bold and glamorous type of horror instead. main logo The campaign encompassed a 12-spread book and included a multi-faceted outreach strategy utilizing social media, wayfinding signage, and other merchandise. To subvert traditional horror aesthetics, the campaign employed vibrant colors such as turquoise and pink instead of the typical red or black. To maintain a respectful tone, we intentionally avoided graphic imagery and other elements typically associated with horror, instead focusing on the core theme of blood donation. Book Spread
Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month I was honored to lead the design campaign for Hispanic Heritage Month at the University of the Incarnate Word. As a Latina, I was deeply passionate about creating visually stunning designs that celebrate the rich cultural history and significance of Hispanic heritage. The campaign encompassed a diverse range of materials, including impactful banners, engaging social media posts, and a unique set of custom Loteria cards. main logo Here are some of the custom designs for the Loteria Cards. Main elements of the campus and cardinal community were implemented in every design. loteria card designs Some of the promotional imagery and design used in the campaign. The biggest challenge was trying to include many cultures into one campaign and I very much hope I acheieved this and represented the community as a hole. All flowers, patterns, and illustrations are meticulously hand-drawn and incorporated within the brand’s limited color palette. The vibrant colors and playful patterns draw inspiration from the lively spirit of our culture. Cardinals to Represent UIW Hand Drawn Flower and Leaf Design main banner
